Bare Skin? So last year..!

So getting 'Inked-up' must be an idea we all play with from time to time. I myself am the proud owner of 2-not-so-great, less that mediocre tatts... The first was a rebellious moment when i was 16, the other was a few months ago when.... Urm... I don't really know what was going on at the time actually. I just remember rushing the whole 'What, Where, When, How much?' process and walking out the tattoo place thinking "yep I've done it again. F'ked it"! Great.

Basically i have a dead moth instead of a butterfly and a "H" that looks more like a "J" leaning on an upside down '4'. Lets just hope i marry someone who's first name begins with J and we have 4 kids... Oh and he likes botanical gardens!

Any way, for those who are more fortunate in this area of body art, it can be an amazing thing. Many models nowadays have the cheeky Star or Peace sign embedded on some boney ligament. But recently I've noticed INK is actually tres High Fashion... What a surprise!

So Chanel brought out those slightly Peaches Geldolf looking transfers and Freja Beha has been teasing us with her quirky stamps for a couple of years now. So why are we so keen to brand ourselves and what makes ink such a statement?

LOVE this!

I think its the whole self-expression, ones own creation, look at me, I'm so hard thing that we still find so appealing. Who doesn't love a bad boy covered in Ink cliche?
Tatt-ta for now ;) ahahaha. See what i did there! xo
