HAPPY BOOTDAY!

So the best thing to come from Northampton second to Alan Carr has to be these majestic icons of footwear history!

Basically a German bloke from...Well Germany, injured his poor widdle ankle in skiing accident and in an attempt to find some shexy ankle support avec air padded soles, he stumbled (excuse the pun) upon a cheeky chappy from Northants who reckoned he could help him out. Then before they knew it 50 years had passed and they had created a one-in-a-million creation.

In the swinging 60's; as well as a skinhead and a gnarly pit bull, a Punk wouldn't be a Punk if he wasn't accompanied by this WEL'ARD tootsie attire.

These days we're all jumping on the band wagon, i had my reservations but it was only until my superstar mother revealed that she had a pair in the mid 80's accompanied by legwarmes of evey colour! Whaaaaat? A bombshell that lead me running to Amazon/Ebay.

Some might think that '1460 and 8 holes' was the last year golf was interesting but instead it's the mighty landmark in which these beauties came about :)

Even designers are attempting to put their own stamp on them..

Wow, easy there Raf Simmons! I know they're renowned for their ankle support but i doubt even the mothers of Madness or The Who would even wear these!

These newbies come courtesy of legend Yohji Yamamoto!

Everyone's at it!

Dude where's my shirt?

OK, so there's Eddie Jordan legend of the motoring world, Culthard a racing legend and Jake Humphrey the tease of the BBC Sports World.

Last year saw the intro of DC into the F1 commentary team and every 2 weeks within race season these mighty motor hero's come together to make sure the tantalising juices of F1 'the spectacle' come together and run nicely. As well as a bit of banter, gossip and rivalry these boy's also manage  to CLASH poetically every single time.
This beautifully cultivated array of white and grey came courtesy of the Aussie GP qualifying and heavens knows what the race tomorrow will bring!

Grey, White and Oh, Grey prints!

Last year saw the merging of blue checks and pin stripes as well as their personal favourites- Pink and Lilac tones!! I can't get over it, is it really pure coincidence??

JAKE HUMPHREY, DAVID CULTHARD AND EDDIE JORDAN...

WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO ME?

CLASH OF THE MIGHTY TITANS!! Every qualifying session and every race!

YOU TEASES!

It's now an exciting feature to a race weekend, but are you 3 really doing this on purpose or would you like me to travel the world with you :) and prevent anymore F1 Faux Pas?

The matching of belts and right hand 'man' bracelets is also priceless,
haha corr i love you boys!

Also how could i get Lee McKenzie's job?? ;)

Bring on the race tomorrow. GO VETTEL <3

ALSO actually- another quick thing to say about this weekends events-

Hamilton- YO LEW? Get ya Dad back mate (he's harsh 'cus he cares and parent's are always right!), stop larking around and put that PussyCat Doll down!
You've got a job to do boy! Larking around in cars given to you by your sponsers and getting cocky with big man Webber ain't really going to get you anywhere.
Also i don't know if you've noticed but my man Jenson seems to have his Q1 groove back and is urm.. Well.. Quietly kickin' your ass! So man up my friend and behave properly! Cheers.

Burrrr- It's cold in here- I said there must be some loving in the atmosphere!

Yo, Burberry?

"do me daily Christopher Bailey"!

Marry me!

Wow- I needed to sit down after i saw these!

So AW09 saw the best collection of trenches and bags to date for the mighty Burberry brand and my man Chris-B or C-Dawg (as i like to imagine he's called) got his MBE! Horaah :)

Anyway....
Every now and again i flounce into TKMaxx, full of excitement and positivity, hoping to find the world's best bargain ( a feeling short-lived as i never do!) and as i trail through rails of tacky discounted disappointments; a Thomas Burberry jumper usually pokes its traditional threads out and pleads with me to take it home.

As you would with a Ralph Lauren shirt you do stop and think 'is there really room in my makeshift IKEA cloth wardrobe for such treasure?', and unfortunately the answer is always no!

HOWEVER those days are long gone my friends, 'cuz i don't know what's flowing in the water coolers at Burberry but i want some. Either Christopher Bailey is the original connoisseur of sex avec chic sophistication or chocolates and 'absolute' vodka are permanently submerging the design offices. Burberry's been sexed up man!
Those boots are to die for (although i can see the poor pixies at Primarni shrewdly trying to copy it!) and the subtle pleating/tweaking/ folding and lining details of this years coats and shirts are really teasing me! What's happened?

Eeeeek! Burberry YOU-GO-GIRLFRIEND!

RUCHING?! Corr you tinkers!

'Emma? Hi, Great name! Sorry to bother you, i was just wandering, i couldn't borrow that Green Mac of yours for V festival could i?... It's just the Kings of Leon are playing and Kelly Jones will be there...I was..No?..Oh..OK....Call me!...'

haha.

Emma Watson is such a perfect face for the brand!

I'm loving it all. AW09 was cracking but AW10 is just as good!
One must put a Burberry Trench back on the 'investment's to buy' list immediately!

PLAYED BAILEY!

NOW, marry me!!

He shot me down bang bang...

So there are designer babies. Handbag pooches, designer hair, teeth, tattoos... BUT O-M-G... Is there really any need for these.........!

Is this not all that's wrong with the world?

"Baby i wan a new AK!" ..."But sugar i just gots you a new Chanel shooter last week!"
"Yea but i likes them big ones Gaga and Bee gots in that Videophone video!"

Another cracking facial expression from Gaga there!

I'm so grossed out by these but I'm pretty sure we wont be seeing them in Wysteria Lane or tossed across the Queen Vic anytime soon.

Nasty!

bump for the reload!

And the award for most unrealistic pregnancy bump goes to...

ASOS we love you.

What the heck? Lol. Crikey i hope that's not a real bubba.
Ouch!

My New Best Friend is...

JC/DC- Get ready for this... Deep breaths... Jean Charles De Castlebajac!

Who Killed Teddy Bear?

Lego!

Haha awesome.

I'm going to write a Mahoosive blog about JCDC's AW10 collection in a bit, but after a bit of research I've really fallen for this Moroccan born, French Nobleman, all round nice guy of fashion.

Coats made from Teddy's and Watches based on Lego...? What's not to lust after?

Nice man, Love it xo

Hermes Darling!

Clockwork Orange anyone? Also... Is that a fur umbrella?

Duffel, Hoodie, Leather Satchel... What a dream :)

Tidy

Who'da thunket from such a shy French house?

Well Hermes, what can i say? A girl is thoroughly spoilt for choice! There's a bit of colour, bit of fur or leather if you prefer, satchels and tailoring to suit all munchkins of various shapes and sizes :) I'm all for mixing hoodies with tailored trousers ;)

This has got to be my favourite AW10 collection yet.

So we all know that showers of Leather, severe Fur and drizzles of Camel have been forecasted for this A/W. But I'm going to go out on a limb and forecast the return of my personal favourite- Sheeeeepskiinn :)

And not in an Ugg or Gillet kinda way. No, no i mean in a big way!
Sheepskin Coats!
Think of Peckham's finest.. DelBoy. My beloved pub companion Miss Drummond appeared at our local wearing such thing a couple of Winters ago, then, i laughed and referred to Fools N 'Orses but now I'm driving myself crazy searching for such thing!

"Nice and cool, son. Nice and Cool"

Scraggly, Curly, Merino or Toscana- Doesn't matter all is forgiven. Suede however is another bag and I'm not sure how i feel about that?

Toppyshoppy and Karen Millen touched on such trend briefly last AW but i reckon it's going to take off nicely soon. I'm already ebaying, charity shopping and vintage stalking for such treasures. So keep your eye's peeled. £10 says I'm right!

xxo

Boo-Pugh

Gareth Pugh AW10.

I'm not being funny Gaz but I'm pretty sure i made something quite similar at college.
I messed around with Faux Silk and a Ghastly Pink Rose print but all in all yours and mine still make me feel a little queasy.
 SO 4YEARS AGO. lol eurgh

Beautiful :) :) :)

"Oi Pugh mate, don't mean to worry you, but i think AllSaints have already done this, Sorry".

Yep, just what i look for in a bloke, a coat made from baby changing mats and a fancy gimp mask!

Wicked.

Laters Pugh.

Look what i found!!!

So severe homesickness kicked in a few weeks back and to be honest I'm finding it hard to shake off. So what does a girl do if she can't get no fun? She buys some chocolate of course!!

A friend of mine posed a question on Facebook some time ago, a question which my housemate and i have been quite obsessed with-

 "Where have Lion bars gone?"

It's true! Where have they gone? Where the heck are they? Our research spanned the whole Epsom/ Kingston/ Central London area and we still couldn't find a single roaring Lion bar.

Bleak was the word to describe the situation! Until i went back to my mighty homeland that is, and saw that the chocolaty tinkers were only 3 for £1!!!!
I was in awe, heaven and disbelief... Mixed emotions! Corr how you can't beat the magic of home :)

However, since travelling to and from Mumma's Nest i also found these......

CHOCOLATE DIP STICK THINGS!!!

Oooooooh!

However due to the incredible calorie content I then settled for this forgotten treasure....

ROLO'S!! Would you believe it?! :) :) :) Eeek!

^ One for all you illustration lovers out there :) Nawwww. Who could forget the Rolo advert with Skippy!! Or the one with the Elephant!! Haha GOOD TIMES :)

So to conclude, next time you need a hug just trek into town and reach out for your nearest 'Vintage' chocolate bar!

Versace- Your Majesty!

Wow finally... For a good few years i have been submerged with PEEP TOE platforms. Many colours, shape and sizes have come and gone and but the whole peep-toe scenario puts me off.

Thankfully however, Queen of the oldskool fashion pool Donna-V. Has come back with some killer creations.

Yeyeye I'm quite excited for these, i can't wait for them to dribble into the high street :)

Raaar-rarr-ooh-la-la

Giles you cracker, the boy done good has only gone and done it again!

OK, OK i know this is a little late but... GILES SS10 has only just caught my beady eye and may i say-
I'm tres impressed!

How amazing are these cute Dinobags? I want one. Pleeeeeaaaassse <3

Bare Skin? So last year..!

So getting 'Inked-up' must be an idea we all play with from time to time. I myself am the proud owner of 2-not-so-great, less that mediocre tatts... The first was a rebellious moment when i was 16, the other was a few months ago when.... Urm... I don't really know what was going on at the time actually. I just remember rushing the whole 'What, Where, When, How much?' process and walking out the tattoo place thinking "yep I've done it again. F'ked it"! Great.

Basically i have a dead moth instead of a butterfly and a "H" that looks more like a "J" leaning on an upside down '4'. Lets just hope i marry someone who's first name begins with J and we have 4 kids... Oh and he likes botanical gardens!

Any way, for those who are more fortunate in this area of body art, it can be an amazing thing. Many models nowadays have the cheeky Star or Peace sign embedded on some boney ligament. But recently I've noticed INK is actually tres High Fashion... What a surprise!

So Chanel brought out those slightly Peaches Geldolf looking transfers and Freja Beha has been teasing us with her quirky stamps for a couple of years now. So why are we so keen to brand ourselves and what makes ink such a statement?

LOVE this!

I think its the whole self-expression, ones own creation, look at me, I'm so hard thing that we still find so appealing. Who doesn't love a bad boy covered in Ink cliche?
Tatt-ta for now ;) ahahaha. See what i did there! xo
